Your New Puppy

Before you reserve a puppy from me please read the following

  • If you live out of state let me know.
  • If you have small children let me know.
  • If somebody in your household will not be around to help raise the puppy when you take it home please let me know. They are a lot of work.
  • If you cannot take your puppy home within a week of them turning 8 weeks old and getting their health papers, please let me know.

Our corgi puppies are born in our house and stay inside until they are 4 weeks old. They then go out to our puppy kennels with their mothers. They live in big 12×12 shavings filled stalls until they go home with their buyers. The puppies have their own puppy yard in which they get to play twice a day. As they get older their time out in their yard gets longer and longer. They get lots of fresh air and have many toys to play with.

Our puppies are de-wormed every two weeks and get their first vaccinations at 6 weeks of age. At 8 weeks they get their second vaccination at the veterinarian’s office along with a complete check-up for their health papers.  They are  de-wormed again and are given a Bordetella Intranasal Vaccine. I  give them their first heart worm preventive and flea control.  When you come to pick up your puppy I will have some puppy food to take home with you and a puppy packet that includes the health records,  house training tips and other useful information.

I have visiting days on Saturdays from 10 to 3, but always check in the Friday before coming. Other visits can be made by appointment. If you reserve a puppy and can’t come for a visit, I will send you a weekly update and new photos of your puppy on Sunday afternoons.
